<aside> 📌 As a supporter you can back talent by buying their token. There are no platform fees to buy Talent Tokens on Talent Protocol (only the blockchain fees).

As a talent it also makes sense to own your own token (besides the 2,000 you received when you launched). Buying your own token is an investment in yourself (that you'll be able to sell back to the market), it signals to supporters that you're serious about your talent token and you'll earn more weekly rewards by doing so.

<aside> 👉 Step 1: Go to the talent profile you want to buy tokens from and click the Buy button.

Tip: you can (and should) buy your own token too. You'll get more rewards and will be signaling to potential supporters that you're serious about your talent token.

<aside> 👉 Step 2: Enter the cUSD or USDC amount of tokens you want to buy. You'll be able to see how many tokens you will receive after the transactions is complete.

Please be mindful, that it's always important to thoroughly conduct due diligence on all talent you plan to support and never spend more than you are willing to lose.

<aside> 👉 Step 3: A Metamask pop-up window appears, asking you to allow the Talent Protocol app to spend your cUSD or USDC. Click Confirm.

<aside> 👉 Step 4: Next click Stake on the Talent Protocol app pop-up. And then Confirm again in Metamask to approve the transaction, and wait a few seconds for the transaction to be confirmed by the blockchain.

<aside> 👉 Step 5: Add the recently bought Talent Token to your MetaMask wallet:

  1. Go to the talent's profile and copy their Talent Token's address.
  2. Go to your Metamask browser extension and click Import Tokens
  3. Paste the Token Contract Address and click Add Custom Token
  4. Click Import Tokens again and now you can see your token in your Metamask assets </aside>
