Introduction

Welcome to Take Off by Talent Protocol, an immersive scholarship program designed to onboard new builders into the web3 space. By participating in the Scholarship voting and application process, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

• Winner: One of the top 10 candidates with the most votes.
• Scholar: An individual who can attend Scholarships. However, some winners might be unable to attend due to various reasons, such as visa issues or health problems.
• Alumni: Past scholars from previous editions of Scholarships (Take Off). Can’t attend new editions.

Eligibility

For Applicants

• All applicants must have attained a minimum age of 18 years on or before the date of the winners' announcement to be eligible for participation in the Scholarships for ETHCC Brussels.
• Must create an account on the Talent Protocol platform.
• Must set up an applications letter with the following criteria:
  • Incorporate a "motivation letter" within the description.
  • Accept the ETHCC Brussels Scholarship Terms and Conditions by marking the designated box during the goal creation phase.
• Completion of step 2 ensures representation on the ETHCC Brussels Scholarship voting page.
• Candidates will be listed randomly on the voting page.
• The scholars of previous Scholarships (Take Off editions) (a.k.a. alumni) can’t apply for ETHCC Brussels Scholarship. However, alumni can vote for the candidates.

For Voters

• Maintain a Talent Protocol account endowed with sufficient virtual $TAL, $BUILD or Points in the wallet to facilitate voting.
• Candidates are prohibited from voting for themselves but can vote for others.
• Individuals without Points can buy Points using $TAL or $BUILD

Voting Process

• Votes can be registered on the ETHCC Brussels Scholarship voting page.
• Each vote carries a varying cost in Points, with the provision to place multiple votes for a single talent, albeit at an escalating cost with each additional vote.
