Builder Rewards program automatically tracks your developer activity. However, to be included in the weekly rewards distribution, you need:

• A Builder Score above 40 (calculated by Talent Protocol based on onchain and open-source activity)
• A Human Checkmark verification (available through the Talent Protocol App)
• A Basename (your onchain identity on Base)

Here's a quick step-by-step guide on how to get started.

1. Increase your Builder Score to 40+

Builder Score combines reputation data from GitHub, blockchain, and other sources to build your profile and verify your skills.

1. Sign in or create your profile with your wallet at app.talentprotocol.com/signin.

2. The Talent App will automatically gather reputation data from the wallet you connect and calculate your Builder Score.

3. To verify more skills and boost your Builder Score, you can:

   1. Connect social accounts with reputation data: GitHub, X, and LinkedIn.

      

   b. Link other EVM wallets that might hold additional reputation signals.

   

   c. Increase your Builder Score by verifying new Data Points. For example, completing Base Learn exercises, minting your DAOBase badge, or becoming a Builder+ member.

   

2. Get the Human Checkmark

Human Checkmark is Talent Protocol's verification primitive that confirms you're a real person.

It's required to prevent Sybil attacks and ensure rewards go to actual builders.

You can earn a Human Checkmark through various identity verification methods integrated with the Talent Protocol app.

3. Get your Basename

Basenames are an onchain identity that makes it easier to connect, collaborate, and contribute onchain.

To get a Basename, head to base.org/names, search for your desired name, choose the duration, and register it.
